Caacupe-mí / Pilar, is the first and only private port in the city of Pilar, which has access to all the main cities in the country. Pilar is located 350 river kms south of Asuncion, and it is the last place which vessels/feeders coming from Rio de la Plata can reach with their maximum cargo capacity of (100%) even during the worst low water seasons. Its’ strategic location, also makes it the desired port of destination for cargo to/from the south, southeast, and east areas of the country. It is equipped with the required infrastructure to operate and offer full services throughout the 365 days of the year.
